Obiettivi formativi

 

L'insegnamento di PEDAGOGIA GENERALE rientra nell'ambito della formazione culturale triennale.

Gli obiettivi formativi riguardano le competenze previste (risultati dell'apprendimento attesi) ad un livello di base. 

 

The course in GENERAL PEDAGOGY is part of the Bachelor's Degree cultural programme.

The learning outcomes concern the planned competences (expected learning outcomes) at a basic level.

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi

 

L'insegnamento si propone di favorire l'apprendimento, la conoscenza, la capacità di comprensione, l'autonomia di giudizio e le abilità comunicative relative a temi, problemi e concetti fondamentali della Pedagogia generale e della sua collocazione storico-culturale, nel quadro delle differenti discipline pedagogiche. Livello di base.

  • Fondamenti di pedagogia generale e sociale e di storia dei processi formativi
  • Teorie e modelli della relazione educativa nella scuola secondaria
  • Analisi dei bisogni educativi e formativi degli adolescenti e dei giovani nella società contemporanea, con particolare attenzione alle situazioni di disagio, ai cambiamenti culturali e degli stili di vita e alle implicazioni dei fenomeni sociali nei contesti scolastici

Studentesse e studenti dovranno dimostrare di:

  • conoscere e comprendere (knowledge and understanding) i contenuti disciplinari in maniera almeno sufficiente per ciascuno dei 3 campi indicati;
  • essere capaci di applicare conoscenza e comprensione (applying knowledge and understanding) sapendo esemplificare opportunamente i contenuti delle conoscenze apprese;
  • aver acquisito un’autonomia di giudizio (making judgements) su quanto appreso ed esemplificato, sapendo collegare, anche in forma guidata, fonti scientifiche diverse che riguardano lo stesso argomento, sapendo argomentare in maniera sufficientemente convincente tematiche trasversali;
  • essere in possesso di abilità comunicative (communication skills), vale a dire: sapersi esprimere correttamente in lingua italiana, saper utilizzare in maniera adeguata il lessico specialistico, saper distinguere tra le diverse teorie e i diversi modelli pedagogici;
  • aver acquisito capacità di apprendere (learning skills), in particolare sapendo confrontare tra loro i contenuti del programma, muovendosi anche in maniera trasversale alle diverse aree indicate.

 

 

The course aims at enhancing learning, knowledge, comprehension, autonomy of judgement and communication skills relating to fundamental themes, problems and concepts of General Pedagogy and its cultural-historical setting in the context of the different pedagogical sciences. Basic level.

  • Principles of general pedagogy and history of educational processes
  • Theories and models of the educational relationship in secondary schools
  • Analysis of the educational and formative needs of adolescents in contemporary society, with particular attention to situations of difficulty, cultural and lifestyle changes and the implications of social phenomena in school contexts

Students are expected to show that they

  • know and understand (knowledge and understanding) the subject content at least sufficiently for each of the 3 indicated fields;
  • be able to apply knowledge and understanding (applying knowledge and understanding) by being able to appropriately exemplify the contents of the knowledge learned;
  • have acquired an autonomy of judgement (making judgements) on what has been learnt and exemplified, being able to connect, also in a guided way, different scientific sources concerning the same subject, being able to argue in a sufficiently convincing way about cross-sectional themes;
  • possessing communication skills, i.e. being able to express oneself correctly in Italian, being able to use specialist vocabulary adequately, being able to distinguish between different theories and pedagogical models;
  • having acquired learning skills, in particular knowing how to compare the contents of the syllabus, also moving across the different areas indicated.

Programma

 

In linea con i Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi, il programma sarà articolato sui fondamenti della pedagogia generale (basi teoretiche ed epistemologiche, processi formativi, istituzioni scolastiche e processi di insegnamento/apprendimento nel loro più recente sviluppo storico); sui rapporti tra educazione, formazione, istruzione; sull'introduzione allo studio e all'analisi della relazione educativa con adolescenti e giovani della scuola secondaria; sulla formazione all'identità e agli stili di vita, anche in rapporto alle convergenze e alle differenze tra educazione formale, non formale, informale.

 

 

 

In line with the above mentioned learning outcomes, the course program will be structured on: principles of general pedagogy (theoretical and epistemological basis,  educational processes, school systems and teaching/learning processes with reference to their latest historical development); relations between education, formation, training; introduction to the study and the analysis of the educational relationship with adolescents and the youth in secondary school; formation of the identity and of the ways of life, also with reference to their convergencies/differences with formal, non-formal and informal education; introduction to the main dynamics of school dropout and of intercultural education.

Lezioni frontali, con l'ausilio di materiali audiovisivi e letture. Dove possibile: incontri con esperti.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

 

L'esame consiste in un colloquio orale in lingua italiana e in presenza. Prevede almeno una domanda (e un massimo di tre domande) su ciascuna parte del programma.
Il voto è espresso in trentesimi.
Oltre alla conoscenza e la comprensione dei contenuti relativi al programma dell'insegnamento, sarà valutata anche la capacità espositiva.
Requisiti di livello minimo: per superare l'esame è indispensabile dimostrare di conoscere in modo sufficiente gli argomenti del programma d'esame, con il relativo lessico specialistico.
Requisiti livello ottimo: per superare l'esame ad un livello ottimo è necessario dimostrare  di aver studiato e compreso in maniera esauriente i contenuti del programma, di saperli mettere in relazione tra loro e di saperne argomentare in maniera consapevole, convincente e autonoma almeno gli aspetti salienti.

 

 

The exam is an oral face to face discussion, held in Italian. It includes at least one question (and a maximum of three questions) on each part of the syllabus.

The marks are out of 30.

In addition to the knowledge and comprehension of the contents related to the Course program, explanatory skills will be evaluated, too.

Minimum level requirements: in order to pass the exam it is necessary to prove to know the topics of the exam program sufficiently, along with their specialized vocabulary.

Excellent level requirements: in order to pass the exam at a very good level it is necessary to prove to have studied and understood the program contents thoroughly, knowing how to relate them and being capable to illustrate at least the main points consciously, convincingly and autonomously.

Gli/le studenti/esse che intendono sostenere l'esame nell'a.a. 2023/2024 ma che hanno inserito l'insegnamento a piano carriera negli aa.aa. precedenti dovranno attenersi al programma d'esame dei rispettivi anni accademici di riferimento, salvo accordi differenti e motivati con la Docente.

Qualora lo/a studente/ssa concordi con la Docente di sostenere il programma d'esame dell'a.a. 2023/2024, dovrà presentare all'esame l'email di riferimento e dovrà sostenere e superare l'esame entro l'a.a. 2023/2024 (appello di settembre 2024).

Students who intend to take the exam in the academic year 2023/2024 but who have included the course in their career plan in previous academic years must follow the exam syllabus of their respective academic year, unless otherwise agreed with the Professor.

If the student agrees with the Professor to take the exam syllabus for the academic year 2023/2024, he/she must submit the reference email for exam and must take and pass the examination by the end of the academic year 2023/2024 (September 2024).
