We would like to announce an event hosted by The University of Turin, Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and Modern Cultures in partnership with CIRSDe, on February 19th (16 CET), with the participation of Prof. Kazue HARADA, Assistant Professor of Japanese and Program Adviser of Japanese at the GRAMELAC Department of MIAMI University.
The event is the first of a series of conferences coordinated by Prof. Gianluca Coci.

(Re)Productive Futures: Defamiliarizing Womanhood in Contemporary Japanese Women's Speculative Fiction
Kazue Harada's lecture will focus on the concepts of "Reproductive Futurism" and "Queerness" as applied to the works of Murata Sayaka and Shirai Yumiko.
The event will be held on WEBEX, and it is completely open.
