Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi
Al termine dell'insegnamento lo studente dovrà dimostrare la progressione dal livello in ingresso al livello B2 avanzato/C1 secondo i descrittori del QCER. Nello specifico, dovrà aver acquisito le nozioni teoriche di base della traduttologia e dovrà saper applicare le principali strategie traduttive dal francese all'italiano e dall'italiano in francese. Dovrà dimostrare una buona conoscenza delle strutture testuali e discorsive dei documenti specialistici affrontati (economia e lusso) e saper produrre versioni adeguate nelle lingue di lavoro ; inoltre, dovrà possedere gli strumenti terminologici di base per la riflessione metatraduttiva e metalessicografica e dovrà utilizzare in modo esperto i repertori lessicografici per la traduzione (dizionari, glossari, lessici specialistici, repertori online, ecc.).
Attraverso le esercitazioni linguistiche, lo studente dovrà consolidare la propria correttezza ortografica e acquisire competenze linguistiche, pragmatiche e testuali relativamente all'espressione scritta e orale in contesti professionali (lettres et courriels, CV, entretien, prise de notes, compte-rendu, tableaux et graphiques, pratiques de traduction, compétences rédactionnelles).
At the end of the course the student will have to demonstrate the progression from the entry level to the advanced B2/C1 level according to the CEFR descriptors. Specifically, the student must have acquired the basic theoretical notions of translation and must be able to apply the main translation strategies from French to Italian and from Italian to French. They must have a good knowledge of the textual and discursive structures of the specialist documents dealt with (economics and luxury) and be able to produce suitable versions in the working languages; they must also have the basic terminological tools for metatraductive and metal-texicographic reflection and must make expert use of the lexicographic repertoires for translation (dictionaries, glossaries, specialist lexicons, online repertoires, etc.).
Through language exercises, students should consolidate their spelling accuracy and acquire linguistic, pragmatic and textual skills in written and oral expression in professional contexts (lettres et courriels, CV, entretien, prise de notes, compte-rendu, tableaux et graphiques, pratiques de traduction, compétences rédactionnelles).

Modalità di insegnamento
Le lezioni si basano su metodologie tradizionali (lezioni frontali, attività pratiche ed esercitazioni) e strumenti didattici multimediali (presentazioni power point, apprendimento guidato mediante risorse on line, attività di laboratorio).
The lessons are based on traditional methodologies (frontal lessons, practical activities and exercises) and multimedia teaching tools (power point presentations, guided learning through online resources, laboratory activities).

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
L'insegnamento prevede prove di valutazione sia scritte, sia orali. L'esame è strutturato in più parti:
- PARTE A : prove scritte in lingua francese (dictée, traduction dall'italiano in francese, pratiques professonnelles, compétences rédactionnelles) finalizzate all'accertamento delle conoscenze e delle competenze sviluppate attraverso le esercitazioni linguistiche ( cfr. programma lettorati terza annualità). Le tre prove convergono in un unico voto finale espresso in trentesimi e devono essere sostenute tutte nella stessa sessione.
- PARTE B : una prova scritta di traduzione dal francese in italiano con domande aperte relative alla teoria della traduzione affrontata durante le lezioni. Il voto è espresso in trentesimi.
N.B. La prova scritta si svolgerà su piattaforma Moodle in videoconferenza Webex (periodo emergenza COVID-19)
- PARTE C : una prova orale (espressione orale) relativa al programma dell'insegnamento di Lingua francese III e ai contenuti delle lezioni- Il voto è espresso in trentesimi.

Si prevedono tre appelli d'esame l'anno, uno per sessione. Superate le prove scritte (Parte A e B del programma; voto minimo 18/30), gli studenti potranno presentarsi all'orale (Parte C del programma) nella stessa sessione o in sessioni successive, a loro scelta. Non è invece possibile presentarsi all'orale se non sono stati superati gli scritti.
Sono previste prove intermedie di contrôle continu durante l'anno. The course includes both written and oral assessment tests. The examination is structured in several parts:
- PART A: written tests in French (dictée, translation from Italian into French, pratiques professonnelles, compétences rédactionnelles) aimed at assessing the knowledge and skills developed through language exercises (see the third year programme lettorati). The three tests converge in a single final vote expressed in thirtieths and must all be sustained in the same session.
- PART B : a written test of translation from French into Italian with open-ended questions concerning the theory of translation dealt with during the lessons. The grade is expressed in thirtieths.
- PART C : an oral test (oral expression) on the French language teaching programme and the contents of the lectures- The mark is expressed in thirtieths.
There are three examinations per year, one per session. After passing the written tests (Part A and B of the programme; minimum grade 18/30), students may speak (Part C of the programme) in the same session or in subsequent sessions of their choice. However, it is not possible to attend the oral session if the writings have not been passed.
Intermediate continuous control tests are scheduled throughout the year. PARTE B : L'insegnamento è finalizzato all'acquisizione di competenze traduttive dal francese in italiano in ambito specialistico anche con l'uso di risorse elettroniche. Si intende avviare gli studenti all'acquisizione dei concetti di base della traduttologia e degli strumenti linguistici specialistici fondamentali per affrontare le problematiche della mediazione dal francese in italiano nei testi di informazione economica e finanziaria e nei testi comunicativi per il settore del lusso con particolare attenzione alla comprensione di tecnicismi e referenti culturali specifici.
PARTE C : expression orale tramite approfondimento tematico nei linguaggi specialistici affrontati durante il corso e apposita bibliografia sulla teoria della traduzione.

PART B : The aim of the course is to acquire translation skills from French into Italian in a specialist field, including the use of electronic resources. The aim is to teach students how to acquire the basic concepts of translation and the fundamental specialist linguistic tools to deal with the problems of mediation from French into Italian in economic and financial information texts and in communication texts for the luxury sector, with particular attention to the understanding of specific cultural eferences.
PART C : oral expression through in-depth thematic analysis of the specialist languages dealt with during the course and specific bibliography on translation theory.
